Retreats at Interactive Discovery

A space to pause, reflect, and connect.

Retreats have been part of Dr. Brodsky’s vision for Interactive Discovery since she founded the practice over two decades. Having attended retreats across the United States and internationally, she experienced firsthand how healing and restorative they could be. She envisioned creating those same opportunities for our own team, individuals, and outside organizations; a dedicated space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

For over two decades, we have carried this vision forward through staff retreats at Interactive Discovery. Today, our retreat offerings extend that tradition to individuals, friends, colleagues, and organizations seeking personal renewal or a meaningful shared experience.

Retreats offer room for both individual reflection and collective processing. They can be a proactive investment in well-being, an opportunity to address stress before it becomes overwhelming, or a setting for strengthening relationships and building a more connected team. Each experience invites participants to step away from everyday demands, reconnect with their inner selves, and explore what matters most to them.

Working collaboratively with professionals across disciplines, we tailor each retreat to the interests, needs, and intentions of its participants. Offerings may include nourishing meals, bodywork and massage, forest bathing and mindful time in nature, meditation, yoga, sound meditation, tea ceremonies, creative arts, and sand tray experiences. Quiet reflection and shared conversation provide opportunities to explore and integrate what emerges.

Our approach brings thoughtful reflection into conversation with emotion, sensory experience, and personal meaning. Creative activities offer ways to explore experiences that may be difficult to express in words, with opportunities to reflect on them through imagery, movement, and discussion. Research on creative arts interventions suggests potential benefits for stress reduction, although outcomes vary across approaches and settings. This research informs the inclusion of creative experiences; it does not establish the effectiveness of our retreats as a whole.

A retreat can happen wherever you are.

Retreats can be hosted in our offices, in your home or workplace, or at destinations throughout the United States and internationally. Wherever we gather, our intention is to create a thoughtful, welcoming space for restoration, self-discovery, and connection.
