A particular area of Dr. Rimawi’s interest and passion is supporting youth as they navigate the complexities of today’s digital and social world. She helps children and teens build emotional regulation, self-esteem, and resilience, while also supporting families in strengthening communication and connection. She also enjoys working with young adults as they explore identity, relationships, and life transitions. In addition to her broader clinical work, Dr. Rimawi specializes in helping teens and young adults navigate social media mindfully, fostering resilience, healthy body image, and self-esteem in the digital age.
As a woman of color, Dr. Rimawi brings a strong commitment to racial equity and social justice into her clinical practice. She incorporates a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens, acknowledging the ways in which systems and lived experiences shape mental health. Her work honors each client’s identity expression, strengths, and resilience, helping them build confidence and a deeper sense of self.
Whether helping a child express big emotions through play, guiding a teen through identity exploration, or supporting a young adult in finding direction and balance, Dr. Rimawi creates a space where clients feel seen, grounded, and empowered.
