Postpartum Support Group

When & Where?

Beginning July 14th for six sessions, Tuesdays 1pm-2pm at our Grand Army Plaza Office (34 Plaza Street East, Brooklyn, NY 11238).

Group Description

A 6 week remote group for birthing parents within their first year.

Clinical Team

Kim Hedaya, LCAT, specializes in supporting new and growing families through the postpartum period and early parenthood. She helps new parents navigate the emotional, relational, and practical challenges that can arise after welcoming a baby, offering compassionate, creative, and attachment-focused support during this major life transition.

Kim is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist who works with children, parents, and families through individual, dyadic, and group therapy. She integrates nonverbal modalities such as play, movement, music, and art with verbal processing to strengthen the mind-body connection. Kim’s trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach is grounded in humanistic and attachment theory while weaving mindfulness, authentic movement, and creative practices tailored to each client’s needs.
