Olga Kucherina

Olga Kucherina (she/her) joined Interactive Discovery in 2017 and currently serves as Director of Outreach and Clinical Coordinator. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Biological Sciences, from Baruch College. She later pursued graduate studies in Health Policy and Management at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at LIU Brooklyn.

As Clinical Coordinator, Olga oversees the practice’s intake and referral process. She responds to inquiries, coordinates intake appointments and case assignments, and helps ensure that individuals seeking services are connected with appropriate clinicians in a timely and supportive manner. She also works to improve intake and onboarding procedures, provide information about the practice’s services, and facilitate clear communication throughout the referral process.

As Director of Outreach, Olga develops and leads the practice’s marketing, communications, and community-engagement initiatives. She manages website and social media content, coordinates the marketing calendar, and creates newsletters, flyers, advertisements, and other outreach materials. She also builds relationships with schools, healthcare providers, local businesses, and community organizations; develops partnerships for psychoeducational workshops and collaborative programming; and helps organize networking events and seasonal community activities. In addition, Olga supports the promotion of therapy, psychological testing, professional development, workshops, and group programs.

Olga’s professional interests include culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, mental health equity, healthcare policy, community-based prevention, and reducing barriers to mental health services. She is also interested in program development, practice-based research, and using intake data to better understand community needs and improve access to effective services.

Outside of her professional and academic work, Olga enjoys learning more about art history, visiting museums, and spending time in nature.
