Jasmin Sowell-Spears, LSMW
Jasmin Sowell-Spears is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) whose practice is rooted in a passion for whole-child development and the belief that growth happens when we honor the interconnectedness of mind, body, and environment. She works individually and in groups with children and adolescents, offering intuitive, stage-of-life–aligned therapy that helps young people process identity, mental health, and social-emotional challenges. In addition to supporting parents and training school staff, Jasmin also leads student support interventions, with a focus on trauma-informed care and practical strategies that build resilience in students.
Much of her professional experience has been shaped by years in community schools serving underserved populations, where she combined therapeutic insight with leadership in youth programming, student affairs, and school-wide systems. She brings this dual perspective—clinical and organizational—to ensure that both young people and the adults around them feel seen, equipped, and supported.
She holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Jasmin resides in Long Island with her husband and three children. While she calls Long Island home, she is a Brooklyn girl at heart—born and raised in Brownsville, New York.
