Olga Ivanov, MS, Nutritionist, RD, CDN, RYT
Olga Ivanov is a registered dietitian and certified dietitian nutritionist, who maintains her private practice in New York City. She offers nutrition consultation and counseling to encourage wellness through making sustainable life changes rather than dieting and calorie counting. She specializes in enhancing brain function through balanced nutrition, weight management, pre-menopausal and menopausal women dietary regimen, allergies and food intolerances, diabetes, and cardiovascular health. She integrates science-based nutrition and holistic approach in her practice, emphasizing prevention and moderation.
Olga believes that food is the cornerstone of the optimal physical and emotional health, energy levels and overall well-being. Olga is passionate about food and cooking. She offers supermarket shopping tours and kitchen pantry’s makeovers, and cooking workshops where she promotes healthy eating through interactive cooking demos and recipe development. She encourages mindful eating and regards food as the uniting force that holds family, friendship and community together.
Olga earned her graduate degree in Nutrition Science at Brooklyn College, New York. She completed a 1200 hour supervised internship through Brooklyn College Dietetic Internship Practice Program and obtained her Registered Dietitian credential by passing a national exam. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Olga is also an adjunct professor at Saint Francis College, where she teaches classes in biology and physiology, and forensic biology. She also has completed 500 hours of RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification at Sivananda Yoga Retreat and maintains a private yoga practice.
